Whitening or Bleaching

Bleaching is a treatment that whitens the teeth. There are two methods of whitening teeth, take home or in office treatments. Most of our patients start with the in-office Zoom Bleach to power start the bleaching process and then use at home trays to enhance and maintain their brightness.

In office bleaching is done in our office using the Zoom in office whitening system. Zoom is a chairside tooth whitening system that uses a bleach light combined with a Hydrogen Peroxide light activated gel to lighten the teeth 6 to 10 shades.

Take home bleaching involves taking an impression of your teeth and making a custom fitted tray. The tray, home bleach and instructions are given to the patient and the bleaching is done at home over a period of time.

Both methods are done under the supervision of Dr. Weiss and are very safe and effective. If you are unhappy with the color of your teeth please ask us about bleaching.
