IMPLANT DENTISTRY:
Advanced training in most Osseointegrated root form implants (Branemark, Calcitek, Core-Vent). Completion of curriculum at Scripps Implant Dentistry Education and Research Center-La Jolla, California. This advanced program of certified education in Implant Dentistry included over 500 hours of lecture and participation and was completed in November 1991.

Fellowship in the American Society of Osseointegration - 1992.

Associate Fellowship in the Academy of Implant Dentistry - 1993.
This advanced program included over 500 hours of clinical surgical training at the University of Pittsburg Dental School through the Misch Implant Institute. 1997-1999.

Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantologist - 1999.

Misch Fellowship in Implant Dentistry - 1999.

COSMETIC DENTISTRY:
Numerous courses have been taken from 1978 to present.

UCLA Cosmetic Continuum 1999-2000. This program included over 150 hours of training in state-of-the-art cosmetic techniques including porcelain laminate veneers, all porcelain restorations and smile design. All programs were at the UCLA Dental School-Los Angeles California.

CRANIOMANDIBULAR DISORDERS:
Numerous courses taken including two years of part- time clinical training at the Facial Pain and TMJ Clinic – University of California, San Diego Medical Center.

Dr. Weiss lectures on such topics as Advances in Cosmetic Dentistry, Advanced Implant Dentistry and the importance of Quality Provisional Restorations.

Dr. Weiss has provided continuing education to the profession since 1988 at local and national level meetings. He also lectures to the Dental Auxiliary programs at Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona.
